Fall/Winter 2019 Color Trends Report
As I often do to the Gods of Color, Pantone, the OGs of divine hues and palettes, I pay homage to them with the very existence of The Color Lab Blog. I honor their commitment to making the world a joyful, color-filled place by giving you my carefully and painstakingly selected choices of colors for the life you live through my regular Color Crazes here, on Pinterest and ColorStories on Instagram. So I'm adding to the traditions I've created for you to enjoy by presenting my seasonal Color Trends Reports. These are the colors I'm coveting for the rest of this Fall and into the Winter season.
I chose this palette of colors simply because they are upbeat and dynamic, ranging from a palate-pleasing red to a formidable green. I'm drawn to them individually by virtue of their singular power factor, defined by their ability to hold their own in your home or wardrobe without a complementary partner to give them a boost.
Salsa is a rich red with spicy undertones. Sun-Dried Tomato is a strikingly hearty brown-red. Peach Nougat is a sweet, creamy neutral. Warm and comforting brown defines Hot Chocolate. Raspberry Sorbet is a cool but keenly unreserved pink. Radiant Yellow is a heightened, mega-intense blend of gold. Provocative, powerful Lapis Blue is intoxicating. And Verdant Green is a bold, classic statement.
