Pale Peach and Almond
Soft. Subtle. Delicate. Dreamy. This color duo gives new meaning to "creamy".
I'm a huge fan of this color combination for the home because, when used with the right amount of balance, together they can bring a calming softness to rooms that may have a bit of edginess too. Yet these two colors don't take away from sparks of pizazz. They provide a soothing complement and a little intrigue of their own.

Pale Peach walls are certainly not a traditional statement and require a subtle hand when it comes to accessorizing but the use of Almond, whether it is with wall trimming, furniture, a picture frame or a lighting fixture will help to create a welcoming room.

If you're not ready to commit to full-on Pale Peach walls with Almond accents, use small home decor items to add subtle touches to your space. Peach and Almond hydrangeas, live or faux, are the perfect touches for Spring (or add Rust colored flowers to the bunch for Fall) in a neutral colored room.

I would be remiss if I talk about colors named Peach and Almond here without offering an inspired taste of the actual fruit and nut combination. Try this Peach and Toasted Almond Ice Cream recipe from Table for Two. It's fabulous! You'll thank me later.
