The Alluring Tones of Malibu Blue and Baltic Sea

The Alluring Tones of Malibu Blue and Baltic Sea

      I need a vacation.

At the time of this writing, I have postponed 3 trips. I’m committed to some sort of break soon though. I understand the importance of rest and rejuvenation. Tranquility, relaxation, and serenity are my jam which is why I was so drawn to the peaceful colors of Malibu Blue and Baltic Sea.

      Ella Fitzgerald Quote

Malibu Blue represents the pristine, clear waters of a tropical paradise, evoking a sense of supreme calm. This enchanting shade of blue mirrors the vastness of the ocean, instantly transporting us to idyllic beaches and sun-kissed skies. Embracing Malibu Blue in gemstones and jewelry will allow you to carry a piece of this coastal escape wherever you go.

Aquamarine, with its delicate yet captivating blue hue, perfectly embodies the essence of Malibu Blue. This gemstone's refreshing color evokes images of crystal-clear waters and has long been associated with clarity and soothing energies. Blue Topaz, with its varying shades from pale sky blue to intense cerulean, offers a spectrum of options to explore the beauty of Malibu Blue. Tanzanite, with its deep blue-violet tones, adds a touch of mystery and sophistication to any jewelry piece.

I often draw inspiration from Malibu Blue to create jewelry that captures the essence of coastal beauty. Whether set in sterling silver or white gold, these gemstones shine brilliantly against cool-toned metals, further enhancing their beauty.

The Baltic Sea, known for its rich history and dramatic landscapes, exudes a sense of mystique and splendor. The color associated with this awe-inspiring body of water is a deep, dark blue, reminiscent of its depths and untamed beauty. Baltic Sea-inspired tones convey a sense of sophistication, depth, and timelessness.

Sapphire, with its velvety blue color, is often used to reflect the majestic allure of the Baltic Sea. Its deep blue tones evoke a sense of mystery and elegance, symbolizing wisdom and nobility. Lapis Lazuli, with its intense blue shade interwoven with golden flecks, captures the essence of the Baltic Sea's enigmatic beauty. Labradorite, with its iridescent play of colors ranging from deep blue to green, reflects the shifting hues of the sea, creating a mesmerizing effect.

My designs inspired by the Baltic Sea often showcase sapphire as the star gemstone. The deep blue tones of this gemstone pairs beautifully with white and yellow gold or platinum, accentuating their magnificence.

The Captivating World of Mustard and Maize

The Captivating World of Mustard and Maize

Colors have played a significant role in my life, evoking emotions and making lasting impressions. I use color moodboards to collect imagery that evokes the spirit of any of the beautiful shades I'm drawn to. When it comes to the vibrant hues of mustard and maize, I feel surrounded by warmth and deep sense of happiness. Ahead, I’ll share with you how I have embraced their essence in the gemstones I selected for some of my jewelry.

Mustard and Maize: An Ode to Nature's Brilliance

Mustard and maize are rich, earthy shades of yellow that draw inspiration from the natural world. Mustard, reminiscent of the golden fields of ripened grains, exudes warmth, sophistication, and energy. On the other hand, maize, a shade of bright yellow akin to sunflowers and cornfields, conveys joy, positivity, and vitality. These colors have a unique ability to uplift our spirits and add a touch of sunshine to any look.

Gemstones Reflecting the Radiance of Mustard

When we think of mustard, gemstones that come to mind are those with warm, golden tones. Citrine, with its sunny disposition, captures the essence of mustard beautifully. This gemstone is believed to carry positive energy, encouraging abundance, creativity, and happiness. Amber, known for its mesmerizing fossilized resin, showcases deep golden hues, resembling the warmth and earthiness of mustard. Topaz, with its range of golden shades, ranging from pale yellow to rich amber, is another gemstone that effortlessly embodies the beauty of mustard.

Maize: A Kaleidoscope of Gemstone Possibilities

Maize, with its vibrant and lively personality, invites an array of gemstones that mirror its cheerful shade. Yellow sapphire, with its brilliant yellow color, embodies the radiance of maize and is said to attract wealth, prosperity, and wisdom. Yellow diamonds, known for their rarity and intense color, dazzle with their striking resemblance to the golden maize fields. Lemon quartz, with its delicate lemony hue, adds a subtle touch of elegance to any jewelry piece, allowing maize to shine through with understated beauty.

Mustard and Maize in my Jewelry Designs

Incorporating mustard and maize into my jewelry has opened up a world of possibilities. I often use these colors as accent shades or as the central theme of my creations. At times, I’ve selected Mustard-colored gemstones to be combined with neutral-toned metals like yellow gold to create stunning statement pieces. Maize-colored gemstones, when I’ve weaved them into custom jewelry in white gold or platinum, provide a striking contrast that emphasizes their vibrancy.
